A message from our Principal

Bumpus Family--

We had an amazing two days with our students! All students learned policies and procedures, and I witnessed many smiling faces. Our teachers truly poured into all of their students this week, and I know that momentum will continue. Below you will find a few reminders. We will run our regular Bell Schedule this week. Here is the link to my school fees, and the transportation website. 
Soon, there will be parent “how-to” videos for Google Classroom and PowerSchool posted on our website. I know these will be helpful when, as a parent, you are monitoring your child's progress. 
We will have an open house on August 19th in the evening. More information on that event will be communicated soon.

BUCS Serve- Community Service Information

Bumpus Community Service BUCS SERVE Information Meeting Join us on Thursday, August 14 A122, 3:30-4:15pm Attendance is required to serve at Bumpus during the Year.
BUCS SERVE is our Bumpus Community Service Group- we help teachers, administrators, and staff, as we learn how to be servant leaders. Open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Get involved! Join our BUCS Serve Google Classroom in order to participate: osuzb6c August and September morning cafeteria stocking and after school dates are posted in the sign-up Google Form. Use bit.ly/rfbservice to sign up! You must SIGN-Up to serve! Teal 25-26 Community Service Forms are available at the front office and in the hanging basket outside of A122.

Attendance Information

Attendance Matters Every Day Mrs. Rush - 2nd floor This year, parents are still required to physically sign parent notes and may not use an e-signature. Parents can submit the signed excuse either by attaching it via email (as done last year) or by attaching it using ParentSquare. Simply replying to the "your student has been marked absent" alert will not suffice unless the parent note or doctor note is attached. Please remember to provide a handwritten note with your signature or a doctor's excuse within 3 days of their return to school.
