A message from our Principal

Bumpus Family--

I cannot believe we are in the last week of October. I hope you all were able to speak with your students about their data folders. I know I teachers had some meaningful conversations.

Attention Parents of Walkers: I want to clarify a few points to prevent accidents and keep student safety our top priority.
  • Crossing guards are on duty from 7:30 am to 8:15 am to help students cross. If your student arrives before or after this time frame, please walk with your child. Please tell them to wait for the crossing guard if they arrive before 7:30 am.
  • Motorized bikes/scooters must NOT be ridden on campus after school between 3:30 pm and 4 pm. ALL students on motorized bikes/scooters will be asked to walk their bikes/scooters on and off campus. We have had way too many close calls of students almost getting hurt. The crossing guards will tell them when they can ride their bikes/scooters.
  • Hoover PD just released some information about motorized modes of transportation on their Facebook page. It has some valuable information.
