A message from our Principal

Bumpus Family--

I hope you all had a wonderful week! We are finally getting into a routine, and that makes me very happy!

All week, I have made several announcements about opportunities for
students to get involved with clubs or other after-school activities
here at Bumpus. All of that information is also located in this newsletter.

Please make sure you adhere to our attendance policies and submit
excuses. Please remember that if a handwritten excuse is emailed, you
must sign the note. If you are checking out your child, you must arrive
before 3 pm. Thank you!

Color Run is Oct 8th!! Registration is $35. This includes a shirt and color packets. You can register on My
School Bucks. On Sept 11, PTO will be in the building to accept cash or check payments. You can send it
with your child or come to the school. The times are 8:00 am-10:00 am and 2:30 pm-3:30 pm.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email me at afordham@hoover.k12.al.us.

With Pride,
Dr. Andrea Fordham

Andrea Mills, Lexi’s mother, will share her personal story of loss, hope, and resilience and discuss ways families can support their children through life’s challenges.
